Your submission warranty
You confirm that you own the submitted files or have sufficient authorization from the owner or rights holder to copy, transfer, process, and receive deliverables. Do not submit a collection merely because you possess the physical media.
Permitted use
The service is intended for lawful heritage, family, editorial, archival, historical, organizational, and related restoration work. Professional status, business ownership, and specific equipment are not required.
Prohibited submissions and conduct
- Files submitted without sufficient rights or consent
- Material whose processing or possession is unlawful
- Malware, executable payloads, credential theft, or attempts to attack storage and processing systems
- Authorization bypass, object-key manipulation, account sharing intended to evade controls, or abusive automated traffic
- Artificial duplicate accounts, self-referral abuse, payment fraud, or manipulation of accepted counts
- Use that materially interferes with other projects or platform operations
Privacy and sensitive material
Use internal customer references rather than unnecessary full identities. Do not place sensitive personal information in filenames, general notes, or support messages. Sidecar files may be rejected or malware-scanned before use.
Capture and file validation
Files may be rejected for unsupported format, unreadability, corruption, unsafe content, duplicate hash, gross capture defects, or mismatch between extension and actual signature. Rejection of a digital capture does not judge the historic value of the underlying image.
Enforcement
BurlyMingo may pause, reject, quarantine, or remove submissions and suspend accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, rights enforcement, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity. Documented exceptional corrections must leave an audit trail.
